Originally heralded as 'The Masked Behemoth', it wasn't until May that the mask was dropped and out stepped Kurt VanBarden, son of Bjorn VanBarden, who has also been in the Tournaments since inception.
In June, Bjorn and Kurt got together and formed the first official BNGOnline Tag Team and fought against two of the toughest the Tournaments had to offer; Lord Humongous and 'Brooklyn Basher' Frank Moretti. The Barbarians won that match in a controversial ref stoppage as Humongous never submitted.
Behemoth won his Tournament Spot in July, having had a 1st Round BYE, and then having defeated 'Cowboy' Cody Rhodes, Gears of War, Akira Inoki and finally 'Danger-Man' Doug Del Ray.
